At 16, I began my professional journey inputting purchase orders into QuickBooks for a small Miami ship chandler. This four-person operation, run by a German immigrant unfamiliar with U.S. business, faced immense challenges. I witnessed his struggles, triumphs, and ultimately, the business's failure.
Throughout my career, I've observed countless small businesses thrive and fail, fostering a deep appreciation for entrepreneurship. At 18, I started launching many of my own ventures, primarily in real estate services. Two decades later, this hands-on experience has made me a strong advocate for entrepreneurs, consistently choosing to support local small businesses over large corporations.
The primary challenge for small businesses is securing funding. Many promising ventures I've worked with, despite strong ideas and customer bases, ultimately failed due to insufficient capital to start projects or acquire necessary equipment.
This challenge is precisely why I founded Souza Capital. My goal is to create more funding opportunities by matching clients with the right loan from a diverse range of products, rather than limiting them to a single institution.
Today, my professional background includes extensive experience as an industrial field service engineer and a successful tenure as a general partner in a real estate venture. Holding dual licensure as a Real Estate Broker and a Mortgage Banker, I offer comprehensive guidance to clients. I look forward to understanding your business goals and connecting you with the ideal funding sources.
